The major revenue growth at Sihanoukville Port in Cambodia has increased significantly, reaching approximately $28.6 million, up 16.9% year-on-year.
This growth is mainly attributed to the increase in containerized cargo and cargo transportation, which demonstrates the port’s important role in international trade. A spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Works and Transport pointed out that Sihanoukville Port is a key gateway for Cambodia’s trade with the world, and the increase in revenue reflects active business activities. By 2025, Sihanoukville Port is expected to achieve an annual cargo volume of 9.6 million tons, generating revenue of $110 million, up 24.12%. The continuous data shows that Sihanoukville Port is driving Cambodia’s economic development at a rapid pace.
